Acceleware’s cutting-edge radio frequency (“RF”) power-to-heat technologies are focused on heating solutions for use in heavy oil production, mineral processing, and industrial decarbonization applications, including carbon capture. By generating heat where required rather than at surface or at a distance, the system enables economic, low carbon process heat for industry.

Revolutionize Your Operations
Acceleware is an advanced electromagnetic heating company with cutting-edge RF power-to-heat solutions for large industrial applications. The Company’s RF XL 2.0 provides an opportunity to electrify and decarbonize industrial process heat applications while reducing costs.
Enhanced Heavy Oil Recovery
RF XL 2.0 targets heavy oil resources that conventional primary recovery methods often leave unproduced. The technology uses RF energy to heat water already present in the reservoir, reducing the viscosity of surrounding heavy oil and allowing it to flow more freely to production wells. This approach can unlock stranded or bypassed heavy oil in thin zones, depleted reservoirs, or formations unsuitable for steam-based recovery, improving production economics without the footprint of surface-based thermal systems. RF XL 2.0 is designed to offer a lower capital and operating cost alternative to conventional thermal recovery techniques, with reduced water use and the potential to unlock bypassed reservoirs.
Amine Regeneration
RF XL applies radio frequency energy directly to amine streams, delivering precise, controlled heat to regenerate the solvent with minimal degradation to amine quality, all without the inefficiencies of conventional steam or fired heaters. This targeted approach realizes; reduced energy consumption, lower operating costs and extends the working life of amine systems. For facilities handling gas treating and carbon capture, RF heating offers a cleaner, more efficient path to maintaining process performance.
Mining and Mineral Processing
In addition to heavy oil and amine regeneration, Acceleware is developing RF heating applications for mining and mineral processing, including mineral drying and heap leach heating. These applications target energy-intensive processes where RF heating has the potential to increase production or through-put while reducing total energy consumption and operating costs compared to conventional combustion-based systems.
