Engineered by Scovan, on behalf of the Pengrowth Energy Corporation, The Lindbergh Project is a 12,500 barrel per day greenfield Steam Assisted Gravity Drainage (SAGD) development located 75 km south of Cold Lake, Alberta.

Pengrowth contracted Scovan to engineer this commercial SAGD facility after successful commissioning of a Lindbergh pilot facility, also engineered by Scovan, in 2012. The commercial development consists of 22 well pairs, located on 4 modular well pads, connected by more than 3 km of surface pipeline to a Central Processing Facility (CPF).  The CPF is a modular facility with evaporators, packaged drum boilers, and on site power generation. The Scovan design effectively integrated process equipment from around the world together on this single site. Scovan provided on-site engineers and design technologists throughout the duration of construction to ensure informed and efficient execution of the engineered design. The added value of this service was seen in a prefabricated pipe cut rate of 98% and daily production targets were over 25% of facility nameplate design.
